VISION AND PURPOSE STATEMENT

Vision Statement

Leave A Legacy

Cal Poly’s Fraternity and Sorority Life promotes student success through scholarship, service, leadership, and brotherhood/sisterhood. There are over 3,500 students involved in 35 affiliated Greek-lettered organizations. These organizations are governed by three councils: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), United Sorority & Fraternity Council (USFC), and the Panhellenic Council (PHA).

Purpose Statement

The office will support the mission of Dean of Students by:

  • Holding Greek members accountable to the values of their organizations through mentorship and advocacy
  • Supporting Greek members to become ethical leaders and to fulfill the mission of their organizations
  • Collaborating with the university and San Luis Obispo communities, as well as national Greek organizations to support our chapters' short and long-term goals

Always with Carson
